Our training facility is located at the Haase ¾ Circle H Ranch, 1350 Dresslerville Rd, Gardnerville, NV 89460 (Owned by Sue Haase).
Lessons by appointment only.
Sheepcamp has several arenas and a round pen for training and tests – and large pastures and fields for working… the arenas have pens attached, are leveled and filled with firm footing. The fields are open and great for distance work and play.
Sheepcamp raises livestock including goats, sheep, ducks and cows. The goats are mostly Nigerian Dwarf crosses – “Tate” was the great sire who came here from Alaska years ago and has lived throughout northern NV. The sheep are all hair sheep crosses. Ducks vary from year to year, but the Call Ducks seem to be popular with most clients. Sandy and Terri have recently acquired several Dexter cows to raise and breed, and often keep several Jersey or other calves for practice.
Sue Haase, Sandy’s sister, owns 3/4 Circle H Ranch – it’s been in the family for over 100 years. Sue has a dog boarding kennel and raises chickens – everyone enjoys the fresh eggs – just ask her! She has been active in breeding and raising Belgian Malinois dogs for many years and has served as Belgian Malinois Club of America’s president, has chaired many national shows and trials, chairs national committees and regularly gives breed presentations at national events
